Benedick Gorospe
Born in the Philippines, and raised in California, Benedick Gorospe is a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Navy from 2010 to 2023 as a Hospital Corpsman. Specializing as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP certified) for 12 years, Benedick is well-versed in general lab practices and management demonstrated exceptional leadership in guiding teams through accreditation inspections. He also served as a Field Medical Service Technician for seven years, gaining experience in both clinical and high-pressure field medical operations.
From 2017 to 2018, Benedick deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain with the 3rd Marine Air Wing, Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS 373), delivering essential medical support in combat zones. In 2018, he continued to provide medical support to Marine border security forces, ensuring the health and safety of personnel. As a Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor for 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) and MWSS 373, Benedick has trained numerous service members in critical life-saving medical techniques.
Now, as a veteran and co-founder of Ascend Behavioral Center, Benedick combines his medical expertise and leadership skills to provide high-quality behavioral health services to the community.
