Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology (full-time)​

​We are currently accepting applications for Full-Time Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship positions. This position is ideal for someone seeking comprehensive training and experience in both psychological and neuropsychological testing as well as therapy across the lifespan. At Ascend Behavioral Center, you will work with clients facing diverse challenges, including neurodevelopmental concerns, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, and more. This diverse clinical exposure provides a rich environment to hone your diagnostic and therapeutic skills. Our supportive and collaborative team offers an excellent platform to develop and refine clinical expertise in assessment and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

What You Will Learn and Do

​Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing
Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for clients across the lifespan, starting as young as one year old. Our assessments address a wide range of neuro/psychological concerns, including ADHD, autism, cognitive or learning challenges, and more. They are designed to deliver diagnostic clarity, offering clients actionable insights and tailored recommendations. You will develop expertise in administering, scoring, interpreting, and integrating testing results to create meaningful reports that guide treatment and intervention planning.

Therapy Across the Lifespan
Provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Therapeutic opportunities include:

• Play therapy and parent support with young children.

• Cognitive-behavioral approaches to address anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Support for clients navigating relational stress, life transitions, and personal growth.

• Family and couples therapy to strengthen communication and relationships.

Qualifications

1. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology before start date

2. Successful completion of pre-doctoral internship before start date

3. Experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing administration, interpretation, and report-writing

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting salary: 65k-80k
